Fath Allah al - Mawsili Nazil Daranda: Sirat'Alim'Utmani min Khilal Makhtütatih (Ciltli)

يقدم هذا الكتاب دراسة تاريخية توثيقية لشخصية الشيخ فتح الله الموصلي (ت 1162هـ/1749م)، وهو أحد علماء الموصل في القرن الثاني عشر للهجرة، اعتماداً أساساً على تراثه الخطي الذي جرى التعرف عليه حديثاً، والاستناد إلى المصادر التاريخية المتوفرة. ويعرض الكتاب تحليلاً مفصلاً لنتاجه العلمي والأدبي، ومواقفه الفقهية والفكرية، واهتماماته الدينية وذلك في سياقاتها الزمنية والجغرافية.
ويندرج هذا العمل ضمن دراسات تاريخ الفكر العثماني، متجاوزاً إطار السيرة الفردية إلى بحث أنماط الحياة العلمية، وإنتاج المعرفة، واستمرارية التقاليد الفكرية في الولايات الشرقية للدولة العثمانية. ومن خلال دراسة حالة فتح الله الموصلي، يتناول الكتاب حركة تداول النصوص، والشبكات العلمية، والممارسات المعرفية التي ربطت العراق بشرق ووسط الأناضول خلال العصر العثماني المتأخر.

This book presents a documented historical study of Shaykh Fatḥ Allāh al-Mawṣilī (d. 1162/1749), one of the leading scholars of Mosul in the twelfth century AH. The study is based primarily on his manuscript legacy, which has only recently been identified, together with the available historical sources. The book offers a detailed analysis of his scholarly and literary output, his juridical and intellectual positions, and his religious interests, situating them within their broader chronological and geographical contexts.

This work forms part of the broader field of Ottoman intellectual history. Moving beyond the confines of an individual biography, it explores patterns of scholarly life, the production of knowledge, and the continuity of intellectual traditions in the eastern provinces of the Ottoman Empire. Through the case study of Fatḥ Allāh al-Mawṣilī, the book examines the circulation of texts, scholarly networks, and epistemic practices that connected Iraq with eastern and central Anatolia during the late Ottoman period.
