Bu kitapta, anatomi bilimi temelinde halk danslarının yazımının yapılmasını amaçlayan, bu yönü ile diğer dans notasyonu sistemlerinden temelde ayrılan
ve sekiz yıl süren bir deneysel araştırmanın ürünü olan Hareket Portesi Notasyon Sistemi (HPNS)' ne yer verilmektedir.

This book includes Movement Staff Notation System (MSNS) which was designed after an eight years experimental research and which aims at writing down folk dances on the bases of the science of anatomy. With this respect, MSNS differs from other dance notation systems.
