Written in 1898, The Turn of the Screw is considered as the most famous of ghostly tales. The novella tells the story of a governess who is responsible of caring for two children at a remote estate and soon becomes convinced that the house is haunted. The story opens with Rudolf Rassendyll, a tourist, traveling to the Kingdom of Ruritania. Rudolf Rassendyll is a relative of the king who is about to be crowned. Rudolf, who bears a striking resemblance to the king, suddenly finds himself in the coronation, unwittingly enters a world full of quarrels and intrigues, and faces an impossible love. The Prisoner of Zenda offers different perspectives and invites its readers to an exciting adventure.
