Günsel Ülkü is an award-winning businesswoman, fashion designer, and travel writer. She graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Business Administration, double majoring in Marketing and Finance. She studied German at the University of Vienna and French at the University of Sorbonne in Paris. She began her career in the pharmaceutical industry at Novartis in Germany. After working several years as a Senior Executive in Turkey, she was promoted to company's Headquarters in Switzerland as the Head of immunology and oncology Business Unit for the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa regions, overseeing 35 countries. She then transferred to Merck Turkey as the General Manager. After serving as the founding General Manager of the company in Turkey, she was appointed as the Director for the South and Eastern Europe region, overseeing 11 European countries.She has had a passion for fashion and made a radical decision to change her career in 2008 by studying fashion design and marketing at Central St. Martins College of Art & Design in London. She established her own company and created her own brand, “L'Atelier d'Existence.” Throughout her professional career, she has received numerous awards, was named “Businesswoman of the Year” and was recognized as one of Turkey's top 30 CEOs. She enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures. An accomplished former licensed swimmer, she remains active in sports, Snowboarding, Pilates and fitness. She has a passion for music and plays the electric guitar. She has a son named Alp and resides in Barcelona, Los Angeles and Istanbul. This book is the author's third book published and contains the 40 poems of author, written in five languages : English, Spanish,German, French and Turkish.
